Krav Maga Techniques
Krav Maga is a self-defense method used in hand-to-hand combat that was developed in Israel. The version that is taught to civilians is often a simplified version of the art that is used by the Israeli Security Forces and law enforcement officers. Because there are certain techniques that are deadly, there are legal constraints on teaching the civilians certain moves. Krav Maga generally means close combat in Hebrew and was developed in the 1930s by Imi Lichtenfeld. It was first used to protect the Jewish community from Nazi militias and is taught today as a self defense method.
