The Nature and Needs of the Middle School Learner

Course participants will explore the characteristics and growth patterns of 10-14 year olds and examine curriculum that will be appropriate for this grade level. Course participants will gain an understanding of the needs of middle grades learners, curriculum strategies, and how to assist students during this critical growth period.
