Today, there are national, international and world competitions. The race courses are made up of jumps, ramps, sand/mud pits and sharp turns and riders are in competition for the fastest time. There is an extreme amount of physical fitness needed for competing in these challenges. There are different levels of competing depending on what size of motorcycle you choose. 250cc bikes are the premier class and the 50cc are usually considered beginner bikes (for the peewee races).
