How to Make a Chicken Alfredo Pizza
Pizza itself is believed to have originated in Rome around the 3rd century BC. History mentions a very different type of pizza however than today's standard. Tomato sauce is a key ingredient that did not emerge until some time around the 16th century. In America pizza did not make an appearance until the late 19th century, brought over by Italian immigrants. An interesting fact; in Chicago at this time, pizza was introduced by a peddler who walked up and down the street selling pizza by the slice.
